Description:
This course is intended for first-year graduate students in the Department of Physics. It provides an intensive problem solving environment encompassing a broad survey of major topics in classical mechanics, electromagnetism, and thermal physics. The primary objective is to prepare beginning graduate students for continuing on to higher level of work in the physics graduate program.
